The first thing we noticed when we brought home the trailer was that it was riding really high. Because we wanted to put a roof top tent on it, we wanted to get the center of gravity down a bit more. After doing a little looking around, we noticed the axle has been flipped under the springs. The easy fix was pulling that all apart and putting the axle back on top of the springs to bring it to hits original position.
The job was pretty simple. Remove the shackles and shock from the axle and drop one side of the springs. Then slide the axle over the springs and put it all back together. This swap will reduce the size of tire that we can fit under the fender, but it will help us even out the trailer when it is both hooked and unhooked to the Jeep.
